PREPARATIONS FOR A SESSION
1. Carve out 1.5 hours for a hypnotherapy session.
2. Strong internet connection is important. If you are concerned about the quality of your signal we can do video and separate voice via cellular as a backup.
3. Make sure your computer and phone have power or are plugged in.
4. Find a comfortable place to sit and have your back. Preferably you will be at a 90 degree angle from the camera position. I can then watch for breathing cues. Swivel or office chairs do not work. A stable reclining position will be needed.
5. A quiet room with no interruptions and privacy is needed. Dogs bark, sirens sound, and family can intrude. Set yourself up for success. Note: In a session I can give the suggestion to block out noise, but we have to get you into a trance first.
6. Turn your phone off. Alarms go off, silent mode vibrates, etc.
7. Anticipate the process' success. You will feel like you are going through a guided meditation. Visualize yourself trusting the therapist and having amazing results. Feel as if this will work.
